Hi there,
Bluebirds start scouting nest sites in early March across your region. A few minutes now makes all the difference for a successful first brood:
1
Clean out the box. Open the side panel, clear last year's material, scrub with a 1:9 vinegar-water mix and let it dry.
2
Check the mount & baffle. Confirm the pole is steady and the predator baffle still wobbles freely.
3
Offer mealworms. A small dish of dried mealworms nearby helps a pair settle in.

First arrivals reported nearby. Boxes should be up and clean by March 15 for the best chance at an early brood.
